How Fort Legacy researches and updates its guides
Fort Legacy publishes practical guidance for people planning ahead and families handling digital accounts after a death. Our paid product is a downloadable PDF guide with worksheets. The articles are free to read.

Sources and scope
We use official provider help, government guidance and other primary sources for procedures. Articles link to the relevant destinations so you can check the current requirements before acting. A provider can change a form, its evidence requirements or the outcome it offers.
Our guides organize practical next steps. They do not grant legal authority, replace advice about a particular estate or guarantee access to an account. A relative, executor and named legacy contact can have different roles. When authority or ownership is disputed, the appropriate local adviser or institution must resolve it.
Country and language are separate
Each PDF identifies its country and language. We check country-dependent documents, authorities and provider routes when adapting an edition. Translation alone does not make advice suitable for another country. Where an article has only a default country version, its country notice explains that context.
Updates and corrections
Article dates describe publication and substantive changes. Regenerating a PDF does not establish a new factual review. When site guidance changes, we assess every edition, update the applicable material and rebuild and check the guides, samples and sales descriptions together.
Send a correction to help@fortlegacy.com with the page URL or PDF edition and page number, what appears incorrect, and an official source if available. Do not send passwords, identity documents or private estate records. We cannot promise an immediate response or provide personal case handling.
AI assistance and editorial responsibility
AI tools assist with drafting, translation, software and image creation. We check the final content and cited sources before publication. An AI-assisted draft or illustration is not evidence that a procedure works. Editorial images may be generated; they do not depict customers or endorse a provider.
How the site is funded
We sell one family of country and language editions of the PDF guide. Free articles answer individual questions; the guide adds an organized sequence, offline reference and private worksheets. Buying does not include account-recovery software or a managed service.
